For the Christ-following business owner

The Kingdom
is already
here.

Your business is not a distraction from your faith. It is the very place where the kingdom of God becomes visible. We exist to help you close the gap between Sunday and Monday.

The problem we address

Living as if the kingdom hasn't arrived.

Most Christ-following business owners carry a silent tension. On Sunday, the kingdom feels real and present. On Monday, the office, the profit margins, the difficult employees — these feel like a different world entirely. So we compartmentalize.

We treat sacred and secular as two separate realms with a wall between them. Business belongs to one side. Faith belongs to the other. But Jesus never made that distinction. He announced that the kingdom of God is here — not coming someday, but present and active, pressing into every corner of ordinary life.

Redemptive Business exists to tear down that wall — to help you lead your team, build your company, and serve your customers as a full expression of kingdom life.

About this work

Built for the ordinary
business owner.

You did not start your business to get rich. You started it because you saw a need, you had a gift, and you wanted to make something — to do meaningful work. That impulse is holy. It is a reflection of the Creator in you.

But running a business is hard. The margin pressures, the personnel challenges, the loneliness of leadership — these are real. And when the pressure builds, it is easy to set aside your deepest convictions and simply survive.

Redemptive Business is a community and a resource library built for small business owners who are serious about following Jesus, serious about their craft, and serious about integrating the two. We draw from the best thinkers at the intersection of faith, work, and culture — including John Mark Comer's theology of place and presence and Andy Crouch's vision of culture-making — and we apply it practically to the lives of real business owners.

This is not a prosperity gospel. We are not promising that following Jesus will make your business successful. We are promising something better: that doing business as a follower of Jesus can be an act of worship, a witness to your community, and a means of genuine human flourishing.

Our Leadership Maxims

01

All real leadership is servant leadership.

Leaders who do not lead as a servant — as Jesus did — are not truly leaders worth following. Authority exercised without love and sacrifice is mere power. Jesus redefined leadership entirely: the greatest among you shall be your servant. Your title on an org chart means nothing. How you show up for your people means everything.

02

All formation is spiritual formation.

Everything you do is either forming you into the image of Christ — or it is not. There is no neutral ground. The decisions you make in your business, the habits you build, the culture you create: all of it is shaping your soul and the souls of those around you. The question is not whether you are being formed, but into whose image.
